Terms of briefing work

These terms govern work commissioned from Data Streambase Analytics, Level 7, 29 Melikishvili Street, Tbilisi 0179. By sending a brief, paying a deposit, or sitting a walkthrough, you accept them. If a signed engagement letter conflicts with a clause below, the letter wins for that engagement only.

The work

We produce visual briefings of data pipeline health: observation, marks, printed and file folios, recap sheets, commissioned charts, and standing watches as described on this site. We do not rewrite jobs, staff a night desk, or sell a login. Quotes describe a family of feeds, an observation window, and a walkthrough. Work outside that description is a new quote.

Acceptance and changes

A quote is open for fourteen days unless it says otherwise. The engagement starts when we confirm the observation window in writing and receive the deposit named on Rates and in the refund notice. Changes to the family, the window, or the walkthrough date must be agreed in writing. We may refuse a family that cannot be marked honestly with the logs on offer.

Intellectual property

Draft sketches remain ours until the folio is filed and the remainder is paid. Once paid, you may use the filed folio and charts inside your organisation, including reprints for the night room. You may not sell the marks as a product, republish the atlas as your own language, or present the sheets as work drawn by another desk. We may describe the engagement in general terms in our stories unless you ask us, in the first letter, to keep the firm unnamed.

Your materials

Logs, cutover hours, and operator notes you share remain yours. We use them only to draw the engagement. We delete copies within twelve months after the folio is filed, unless a standing watch is still running or Georgian law requires a longer hold. You warrant that you may share what you send.

Liability

We draw a picture of what the feeds did in the window we were given. We do not promise that the next night will clear. Our liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where Georgian law forbids a limit — including harm caused by intent or gross negligence. We are not liable for lost sales, empty warehouses, or director meetings that go badly after a sheet is filed, except as that law requires.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. Courts in Tbilisi have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable rights you hold as a consumer under Georgian law.
